Love football? We help you turn that passion into paid work. At 360 Scouting, we connect football clubs worldwide with talented scouts who work entirely remotely. Our scouts analyze matches, identify promising players, and deliver professional reports, all from home, on their own schedule. You don't need a professional football background or industry connections. What matters is your ability to read the game, analyze player performance, and communicate your insights clearly. Our two-round assessment process tests these skills objectively, no CV required. If you pass, we'll provide the training and opportunities to work with professional clubs across the globe.

How we select the best football scouts

At 360 Scouting, finding a job as a football scout does not depend on connections. A professional football background is not a requirement either. Our application process thoroughly tests your skills and knowledge. Only the top 0.5% of applicants join our team.

How does the application process work?

Our selection process is designed to identify true scouting talent—regardless of your background or connections. We test what matters: your ability to read the game and communicate your insights.

Round 1: Game Analysis (10-15 minutes) You’ll watch 10 short match clips and answer questions about what you see. We’re looking for your ability to recognize key moments and describe them clearly. The top 10% advance to Round 2.

Round 2: Scouting Reports (3-4 hours) You’ll create three professional reports:

  • Individual player report on a defender or defensive midfielder
  • Individual player report on an attacking midfielder or forward
  • Full match report identifying the most interesting players

We evaluate every answer anonymously and objectively. Only the top 0.5% join our team.

What happens next? Selected scouts receive training and start working on assignments for professional clubs worldwide. We match you with clubs based on your skills, languages, and league knowledge.

What are we looking for?

We focus on three key qualities in our scouts:

You should have a deep passion for football and a sharp analytical mindset. You must understand the game at a granular level and be able to assess what happens on the pitch accurately.

You must convey your findings clearly and effectively in written English. Whether preparing a detailed report for a head coach or providing verbal feedback, your ability to articulate what you’ve observed and why it matters is essential.

Reliability is key, but we also value a positive attitude. You should be trustworthy and enjoyable to work with.
