The Essentials course goes into more detail than the Free course, with ten theory videos (1.5 hours) and a practical assignment (1.5 hours). You’ll receive a scouting certificate after completion.

Our advanced scouting course
In this course, you’ll master the skills that set top football scouts apart. By the end, you’ll be a skilled video scout, a critical thinker, and a confident communicator of advanced scouting insights. It consists of eight extensive theory lessons (6 hours) and five practical assignments (14 hours).

We are currently cooperating with clubs at Champions League and Europa League level. That’s how we know how modern scouting works today. We transfer that knowledge to (aspiring) scouts in our courses.
Besides the theory in our courses, Essentials, Pro and the Academy consist of very enjoyable scouting tasks. You pretend to be a scout of club X, evaluate player Y and create a report based on context Z. Afterwards, you’ll compare your findings to our to create a feedback loop.

Marco van der Heide is a former professional football player and the founder of 360 Scouting. After his active career, Marco became a video scouting expert, spending thousands of hours analyzing matches and players.
For almost ten years, he has worked for professional clubs, individually or through 360 Scouting. At AZ Alkmaar, he reported to current Liverpool head coach Arne Slot as their opposition analyst. As a scout, Marco worked for various clubs, ranging from Champions League teams to second-tier clubs.
